“Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.” Acts 15:18
In Acts chapter 15 we are told how that the early church, filled with Jewish believers, struggled with allowing Gentiles into their fellowship. In the context of this verse, James is telling the assembled congregation that God had planned to include the Gentiles from the very beginning and had spoken of this day throughout the Old Testament.
It is a comfort to know that God is not making decisions randomly as issues confront Him, but that everything is going exactly as He planned from the beginning of Creation.
