I understand that Covid 19 has created a panic in our culture from which we will be long recovering from. Today I read a book written in 1917 entitled "If only someone had told me" by H.D. Bailey the professor of biology at Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania. He stated some things that got me to looking at comparisons in different diseases, and I would like to share my findings with you. According to him, 160,000 people died in 1909 due to Tuberculosis, 130,000 of heart disease, and 98,000 of pneumonia. His whole book was dedicated to educating people about sexually transmitted diseases which, he said, were on the rise and were causing multiplied deaths and complications in child birth. At that time there were no metrics for this problem. So I went to the CDC website to see what I could find out about the numbers today. The top 3 Venereal diseases have increased with 2,395,000 being reported in the Oct. 2019 CDC data. “STDs can come at a high cost for babies and other vulnerable populations,” said Jonathan Mermin, M.D., M.P.H., director of CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention. “Curbing STDs will improve the overall health of the nation and prevent infertility, HIV, and infant deaths.” According to the CDC report the increase is due to multiple factors most of which point to sexual promiscuity including gay and bisexual activity. The CDC website says,"Syphilis in newborns is a tragic consequence of the growing STD epidemic" and "Urgent action needed to break the cycle of STD increases." Yet no one is reporting on this. Instead, we are threatened with arrests, and blocked from purchasing basic necessities when not wearing a mask. We are told that we don't love our neighbors if we don't wear a mask.
By comparison, by July 29, 2020, 135,579 people have died from differing causes which all included but were not exclusive to Covid 19. All of which, are counted as Covid deaths.
The same organizations creating panic over Covid are telling us that the gay, bisexual, and polygamous, and pedophile "life styles" should be completely accepted by society as normal behavior.
...And one more thing....the liberal governors and mayors using such heavy handed tactics on the general populace have welcomed with open arms the Black Lives Matter movement, which states on its website, "We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable...We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise)."
it is time for Christians to stop being silent.
